NotaBene Chamber Group Andrii Pavlov, Maksym Hrinchenko /violin/ Ihor Zavhorodnii /viola/ Artem Poludennyi /cello/ Roman Lopatynskyi /piano/ Program: Borys Liatoshynskyi Part I: String Quartet No. 1, Op. 1 (1915) Part II: Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 7 (1922, second version 1925) It is always fascinating to trace how composers began their creative journeys: in which work the significant “Op. 1” first appears and why it becomes a starting point. The concert program features Boris Liatoshynskyi’s earliest chamber-instrumental compositions in their respective genres.
