A graduate of the M.V. Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, class of I. Piliatiuk. He has honed his performing skills at masterclasses with professors Bohodar Kotorovych (2000-2007), Zakhar Bron (Poland, 2002; Moscow, 2004; Hamburg, 2006), Michael Frischenschlager (Austria, 2003, 2005), Josef Tomasek (Austria, 2004), and Anna Chumachenko (Munich, 2007). In 2014-2015, he completed an internship at the Franz Liszt Academy (Weimar, Germany) in the class of Professor M. Simmy. He is a laureate of international competitions: Bogodar Kotorovych Competition (Kharkiv, 1999), K. Fleisch Competition (Hungary, 2003), and M.V. Lysenko Competition (Kyiv, 2007). He was awarded the Grand Prix of the "In Blessing of Violin Hands" Violinists Competition (Ternopil, 2010). At the Y. Yankelevych International Violin Competition in Omsk (Russia, 2011), he received the First Prize and the special prize - a violin crafted by the renowned French master A. Carbonare. He is a scholarship recipient of the V. Spivakov Foundation (2004) and a Presidential Scholar (2005-2009). He was named the Best Student of the Year in Ukraine (2008). He actively performs in concerts in Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Finland, and the USA. Miroslav Skoryk dedicated his Concerto No. 7 for Violin and Symphony Orchestra to Nazariy Piliatiuk, which was recorded by the NAXOS studio in 2014 with the accompaniment of the National Odessa Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Earl Hobart.
