About the concert

Concert Program: Arvo Pärt — Fratres / Brotherhood Valentyn Sylvestrov — The Birth of Melody, cycle of miniatures (Nos. 3, 5, 6, 7) Gia Kancheli — Letters to Friends, 18 Miniatures for Violin and Piano Performers: Nazarii Pylatiuk /violin/ Petro Dovhan /piano/ "Voice of Freedom" is a chamber program in which music emerges as a space of inner freedom, memory, and human dignity. Works by composers of different generations and national traditions are united by a shared idea — the search for truth, silence, prayer, and sincere emotional expression. Ukrainian music stands alongside iconic names of the European and international scene, creating a cohesive dramaturgy — from contemplative minimalism and philosophical lyricism to deeply personal tango as a symbol of emotional freedom. This is a concert-reflection in which each work becomes an individual gesture of spiritual independence.
