Petro Dovhan'

Petro Dovhan is a Honored Artist of Ukraine, PhD in Art History, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Piano at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, and winner of national and international competitions. As a soloist and ensemble player, he is a regular participant in international and Ukrainian music festivals, including "Warsaw Autumn" and "Karol Szymanowski Music Days" (Poland), "Kyiv Music Fest" (Kyiv), organ music festivals (Sumy, Uzhhorod), "P. I. Tchaikovsky and N. F. von Meck International Festival" (Vinnytsia), "Beethoven's Music" dedicated to the 250th anniversary of L. van Beethoven (Dnipro), "Bukovyna November" (Chernivtsi), "Contrasts", "LudkevychFest", "Musical Encounters at the National Museum", "Night in Lviv", and "Academia" (Lviv). He has performed on stages in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, and Norway. He has collaborated with conductors such as H. Mattes and S. Camartin (Switzerland), R. Arista (Argentina), R. Rewakowicz (Poland), V. Ploskina, I. Yuziuk, R. Fylypchuk, Ya. Kolessa, I. Pylatyuk, V. Syvokhip, Yu. Skrypnyk, E. Sokach (Ukraine), and others. He has performed accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Philharmonic, the Academic Youth Symphony Orchestra "INSO-Lviv", chamber orchestras "Academia" (Lviv), "Perpetuum Mobile" (Ivano-Frankivsk), the Academic Chamber Orchestra of the Rivne Regional Philharmonic, "Arcata" (Vinnytsia), and others. He has collaborated with composers such as M. Skoryk, V. Runchak, O. Shchetinsky, A. Nikodemowicz, and A. Pärt. For over 20 years, Petro Dovhan has been the stage partner of the People's Artist of Ukraine, virtuoso violinist Nazariy Pylatyuk. Together with him and guitarist Anton Sopiha, he has been performing for about 10 years as part of the instrumental trio "Promenade". In 2025, he began collaborating with Ukraine's most famous tango orchestra, "FueGo Orchestra".
