Theodore Kuchar (USA) — recipient of numerous music awards, including a GRAMMY Award Nomination, BBC Recording of the Year, Gramophone Magazine, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Recording of the Year. Chief conductor of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. He is the most recorded conductor of his generation, with over 150 CDs released on such renowned labels as Naxos, Brilliant Classics, Ondine, Marco Polo, and Toccata Classics. Theodore Kuchar has served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of such symphony orchestras as the Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra, Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra, Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Venezuela, Slovak National Symphony Orchestra/Slovak Sinfonietta, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine. Maestro Kuchar has conducted numerous masterclasses and appeared with orchestras in England, the Czech Republic, Israel, Venezuela, Finland, China, Turkey, South Africa, Argentina, Ukraine, and many other countries. He has collaborated with world-renowned soloists such as Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, Mstislav Rostropovich, James Galway, Hilary Hahn, Sara Chang, James Buswell, Lynn Harrell, among others.
