Serhii Kurdytskyi

Born in 1988 in the town of Kreminna, Luhansk Oblast. At the age of five, he began playing the button accordion (bayan). At seven, he enrolled in a music school and became a laureate of numerous competitions during his studies. After graduating from the music school, he entered the S. S. Prokofiev Severodonetsk College of Music. He participated in numerous concerts and all-Ukrainian competitions. Serhii Kurdytskyi graduated from the Pyotr Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. He taught himself to play the bandoneon. The artist performs music across various genres: French chanson, Argentine tango, jazz, and original compositions. He has performed on stages in many countries as well as on the main stages of Ukraine. He took part in TV shows such as Dancing with the Stars, The Voice of Ukraine, Dancing on STB, The X Factor, and Breakfast with 1+1. He has participated in numerous festivals and events, including the Koktebel Jazz Festival, Jazz in Kyiv, Beirut Tango Festival, Viva!, Viva Most Beautiful, and Ukrainian Fashion Week. He has collaborated with prominent artists and figures such as Oleksii Kogan, NK, Jamala, Alyosha, Nadiya Meikher, Vitalii Zahoruiko, Kostiantyn Tomilchenko, Olena Mozghova, Axelrod, and others. In 2011, he joined the tango orchestra Kiev Tango Project. In 2012, he acquired a bandoneon manufactured by the Alfred Arnold factory (the same brand played by Astor Piazzolla), which was made on February 14, 1936. Since 2020, he has been a co-founder and member of the FueGo Orchestra.
